The House of Zilbershlag is committed to making its website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines and to the Israeli Standard IS 5568.

What we have done

• Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings and landmark regions.
• Full keyboard operability, visible focus outlines, and a “skip to content” link.
• Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast, in a light interface.
• Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
• ARIA roles and labels on dialogs, controls and navigation.
• Full right-to-left (RTL) support and a Hebrew / English language switch.
• Respect for the “reduce motion” system preference.
• A responsive layout that adapts to screen size and zoom.

Ongoing effort

Accessibility is a continuing process. We review the site regularly and correct issues as they are found. Some third-party content (for example embedded images) may not yet be fully accessible; we are working to improve it.
